John is a life long New Englander. Born and raised in
Providence Rhode Island
until the age of 13. Since then,
Connecticut
is where John calls home with his wife and three children.
Ever since his childhood, Early American life has been a passion and part of John’s life.
With the blessings of God, John is a full time, self-taught folk artist.
His art work is referred to as New England Style Folkart, which he proudly embraces.
Living in
New England
has given John endless inspiration for his art work.
Collectors have always asked John where his inspiration comes from. In John’s words: “Living in
New England
all my life has given me endless inspiration!”
John has authored and co-authored 13 best selling books on American Folk Art. Currently he is with two publishing companies for books, prints, and licensed products. John’s prints are sold nationally through his publisher. He signs and numbers only 100 of each print which can be found here on thi8 site.
In 2004, John had personally developed his own candle line: Primitive Scents.
Re-creating “time in a bottle”. True authentic recipes and fragrances of those day’s gone by.
